It has been a crazy week here in Minnesota. We arrived here last Sunday and went to a lake house with our grandma and cousins. We were also joined during the day by our grandpa, our great aunt, and her two grandsons. We spent a lot of time in the lake, whether we were paddleboarding, kayaking, or just splashing around. On Thursday we went out on a pontoon on the lake, which was tons of fun for all. On Friday, sadly, we had to leave. But it’s okay because one, we will see grandma and grandpa again in August, and two, we drove with our cousins through Duluth (which had a great sandwich shop called Northern Waters Smokehaus) to Cloquet for a family reunion Friday through Saturday. On Sunday there was a baby shower for my first cousins, once removed and I am so happy for them! We had delicious meals and met many relatives we didn’t previously know. My aunt did henna on my hand and put wool dreads with beads into my hair, which, by the way, looks awesome! Now, we’re at the ranch with my other grandpa and grandma and I’m super excited for a fun week here!
